Healthy Morning Routine

Having a morning routine that you love can really set the tone for the rest of the day. If you sleep till noon you can feel lazy and unproductive all day. However, if you wake up early and start the day in a healthy way, it can have you feeling on top of the world. Creating the perfect morning routine differs from person to person, but here are my tips for a morning routine that leads to a positive and productive day! (please keep in mind that these habits take a while to become consistent and there is no way in heck that I do this every single day of my life).

Waking up early, this one can be hard when your bed is extremely comfy. Once you get used to it, you will be forever grateful for how much more time in the day you have. Some tricks to helping you wake up is setting a new alarm tone. Using the same alarm tone can get extra annoying, so switch it up every so often so you don’t get used to it. I also started to leave a positive quote in the title of my alarm. That way when it goes off in the morning I read it and get a little extra motivated to get my booty out of bed.

Keeping a full water bottle next to your bed. Everybody knows how important drinking water is. If I keep a bottle next to my bed, then I start drinking it as soon as I get up which helps my body wake up a little bit more.

Putting on a motivational podcast or YouTube video. I just started doing this last week and it works wonders. Putting on a video of someone that motivates you to be your best self is the perfect thing to pump you up in the mornings and get you ready to crush your goals that day.

Drink Apple Cider Vinegar on an empty stomach. Its gross, I know. Trust me when I say that you get used to it though!!! I will include the recipe of how I like to make mine below, and it is definitely easier to drink with my new way of making it than how I used to drink it in the past. Adding this to your everyday routine has some amazing health benefits: it can improve your gut health (which is key because your gut health is the root of EVERYTHING in your body). It helps to detox your liver, balance your bodied pH levels, can inhibit the growth of cancer cells, lower blood sugar levels, lower cholesterol and lead to a happy and healthier heart. ITS AMAZING FOR YOU SO DRINK IT !

Lastly, I like to workout in the morning. After a morning workout I always feel 100x more motivated to accomplish everything that needs to get done for the day. If you work in the mornings like I do, then go straight after work, otherwise you will go home and not want to leave the house again.

Overall, my morning routine can differ from day to day, but this is what I do on the perfect day when I have all the time in the world. Create one that best works for you to get a strong start to your day.

Apple Cider Vinegar Drink

-8 oz of room temperature water

-1 tbs of apple cider vinegar

-1 tbs of lemon juice

-1 tbs of stevia or honey

-mix and drink!

    Hey! I definitely agree, that waking up early – or I should say LEARNING to wake up early – can definitely create a positive start for the day! At least it does for me! It’s like I get a sense of accomplishment first thing! #Win! Lol.

    But seriously though, that and drinking water first thing like u said has me waking up feeling like🙌😃☀️☀️☀️
